EXCLUSIVE access to the park at DAWN for this group ONLY, making this a one of a kind opportunity.  Transportation THROUGHOUT the Park to carry your gear.  PLUS animals are treated to specific areas within their habitats best for photographs.  Evening session in-person the night before to prepare you for getting the most out of your camera and the experience.  Hands-on assistance in photographing wildlife in a variety of settings, including outdoor habitats, open ranges and unobstructed views.  You won't find a similar venue with the variety of photographic opportunities for this cost anywhere except at Out of Africa Wildlife Park.  Many participants have attend the workshop every year, because of its value.  Max of 12 participants.

Wildlife Babies Photography Workshop

A minimum of 8 animal species photo sessions with the best wildlife babies that Triple D has to offer. Sessions will be scheduled by Triple D, selected from the babies born in the spring of 2017. Tentative list of babies can include: wolf pups, grey fox kits, Siberian lynx kitten, raccoon pups, coyote pups, Canadian lynx kitten, porcupine baby, red fix kits, bobcat kitten, badger pup and fisher pup.

Species not included in the cost of the 8 photo sessions will be offered to participants at an additional rate of $150/session.

An informative online webinar that covers wildlife photography composition tips and camera settings to prepare you to maximize your camera’s potential while shooting.  Pre-planning emails to help you prepare for the workshop.  Photograph wildlife at eye level in natural settings. The most common lens used is a 70-200mm.  Photo sessions are scheduled for 3 days, with an additional day reserved in the event of inclement weather. Optional sessions will be offered throughout the four days. At least two mid-day or evening sessions to share photos, prepare for photo sessions and demo post processing techniques. Class size is limited to 10 participants with plenty of one-on-one time with Kathleen to get coaching specific to your needs.  Each participant will receive a signed copy of Kathleen's book Capturing the Moment, The Art & Science of Photographing Wild Animals

North American Black Bears Photo Workshop

DNR estimates there are 12,000-15,000 black bears in Minnesota.  We can anticipate seeing up to 30 different bears on a given day during the workshop.
